Theme: “Foot-Prints: Reflections on the Life & Times of the Pioneers”
Objectives
A sacred gathering of stories, legacies, and aspirations. A reflection on the early years of Command Secondary School Jos (CSSJ) as launchpad for lifelong excellence, while also uniting its earliest members to sow new seeds of growth, mentorship, and support to their alma mater and alumni organization.
Welcome Message
Every great story has a beginning, a moment in time when dreams were young, friendships were pure, and the future was wide open.
For Command Secondary School Jos Alumni community, that story began with a few brave steps through the gates of PMB 2250 Zaria Road.
For the first five sets of students and teachers of Command Secondary School Jos (CSSJ), those who for the first time walked through those gates between 1977 and 1981, or who bade farewell between 1982 and 1986 and were nurtured in the hallowed legacy halls of Independence, New, Republic and School Houses, where destinies were shaped, characters were refined, and a lifelong spirit of excellence was born, now is a moment to reflect.
You were the Pioneers, the Pathfinders and Pace setters. From your experiences in Jos, you have gone on as trailblazers to make remarkable contributions in Nigeria and across the world: in the armed forces, politics, academia, sports, business, entertainment, private and public service, and community development.
It is in this spirit that we invite participation in a historic CSSJ-Pioneers Reunion’26, an event designed not only to reconnect, reminisce, and reestablish old bonds, but to honor, celebrate, and give back to our alma mater.
This is more than a reunion, but our true “spiritual” homecoming, our story, our celebration of the legacy that began our shared journey and a collective act of gratitude.
Together, we will honor the past, uplift the present, and build a future worthy of the CSSJ name.

Arrivals & Check-in
General arrival of alumni and guests.
City Tour – “The Spirit of a Commando”
A nostalgic bus convoy through the city of Jos, revisiting memories and rival schools, ending at the CSSJ campus.
Charity Table Tennis Reunion Classic – “The Unfinished Game”
A fun, charity-driven competition reviving the legendary CSSJ table tennis spirit. Funds raised will support sports development at CSSJ.
Welcome Reception – “A Day Back in Time”
A warm evening of laughter, music, and reconnection to kick off the reunion weekend.
Colloquium – “From Classroom to Country”
A thought-provoking session featuring distinguished alumni as speakers and panelists reflecting on how CSSJ shaped national and global impact.
Session I: “Echoes of Excellence”: Keynote Conversations with National & Global Trailblazers”
Session II: “The ‘Red Necks’ Roundtable: Fireside Chat with Our Generals”
Session III: “Commanders Beyond the Barracks: Dialogue with Our White-Collar Generals”
Awards & Fundraising Dinner – “A Nite of Golden Medals”
A black-tie evening recognizing outstanding pioneers and raising funds for the CSSJ Sports Development Project — to revamp sports infrastructure and nurture new talent.
Legacy House Meet-ups
Breakfast or lunch meets organized by the four Legacy Houses — Independence, New, Republic, and School Houses.
Farewell Breakfast – “Good Bye Till We Meet Again”
A closing breakfast to celebrate memories made and friendships renewed.
